Description
Pictured in this photo are rear, from left, Annah Butler Richardson, and Olga Lehrs; and front, from left,Mooci Lehrs and Albert Butler Richardson. Annah wrote, "The kiddies were beautifully indifferent to the terrors around us." This photo was taken around late October or early November, 1917, in Moscow, during the turmoil leading up to the October Revolution.
Annah's husband, Arthur, worked as the agent for the Chesebrough Manufacturing Company in Moscow, Russia. Both were originally from Rockland, Maine.
