Description
Pictured is Annah and Arthur Richardson, both natives of Rockland, in Beijing, China, on their way back to the United States.
Arthur Richardson had been the agent for the Chesebrough Manufacturing Company in Moscow, Russia. When the Russian Revolution broke out, the Richardsons were forced to escape to the east on the Trans-Siberian Railroad, disguised as peasants, to China.
