Description
The interior of Bear Mt. Grange #62 Hall's second floor stage decorated with bunting for an unknown event.
The building was originally a Universalist Church in 1844 but was taken over by the Grange in the 1890s. At the time of this photograph the South Waterford Elementary School grades 1 through 8 met in two rooms in the downstairs of the Grange. The school eventually moved out of the Grange in 1949. As of 2012 Grange meetings are still held in this hall.
