Retirement tea for Mrs. Elinor F. Cornish, assistant director of Nursing Services at Maine Medical Center, organized by the hospital's head nurse and assistant head nurse groups. On the table are the three nursing caps representative of the three institutions that merged to form MMC: Maine General Hospital, Maine Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Children's Hospital.
