Contributed by Sugarloaf Mountain Ski Club through Ski Museum of Maine
Description
In the finish area of the Giant Slalom, Canadian, and non-racer, Annette Barrington chats with fellow countrymen participating in the World Cup.
Annette was the sister of Canadian Ski Team member Rato Barrington. Annette's boots drew much attention during the ski races. She named them Rufus and Ruben. In 1971 fur boots and coats were very much in style at ski resorts.
Also pictured, wearing race bib number 63, is Canadian Ski Team member Aidan Ballantyne.
