Description
This sadly faded and grainy photograph captures dramatically the characteristic over-the-water construction on pilings of seaside industry. The first building of the company complex bears the sign “American Can Co.” is visible slightly left of center. The largest, a three-story factory, was built in the late teens of the 20th Century.
