Description
A postcard shows the 1933 potato crop of Thomas Albair of Limestone.
On the back of the card is written: "Here is a three acre field, a little less than three acres, to be exact, from which Mr. Albair harvested 572 barrels of potatoes, an average yield of 190 barrels per acre." The sign in the field notes, "Grown with Armour's Big Crop Fertilizers." The company publicized the crop yield of farmers who used its products.
