Description
The 1850 Androscoggin No. 2, the hand engine owned by the Androscoggin Veteran Fire Association in Topsham, is towed along in the muster parade at Marblehead, Massachusetts, on September 4, 1954. Marblehead hosted a number of fire muster competitions for the region, at which companies would gather to see whose engine would shoot water the farthest. The Marblehead Company also traveled to Maine occasionally for musters.
