Description
"Hartland, Me. Home of 'Sebasticook' Skirts" is printed on the front of this postcard, published by Fuller, Osborn Manufacturing Co. in Hartland. The Linn Woolen Mill can be seen in the distance, on the banks of the Sebasticook River. The mill produced wool for skirts, suits, and other items.
The note on the back reads: "How are these for pretty ruins? Will write Sunday and tell you all the good news - E." The postcard, sent from Hartland on February 21, 1908, is addressed to Otho L. Linn of Wilton, Maine. Postage was one cent.
