Description
The selectmen for the town of Baldwin drafted this warrant, on October 10, to call for a town meeting at Richard Fitch's house on November 5, 1804. The warrant was signed by Baldwin selectmen: Jose Larrabee and William Fitch.
The subject of the warrant is to vote for President, Vice President of the United States and to vote for representative of the United States Congress.
The presidential election of 1804 was between Thomas Jefferson and George Clinton Vs. Charles Pinckney and Rufus King. The Congressional district at the time was part of Massachusetts, Peleg Wadsworth was the representative for U.S. Congress from March 4, 1793 to March 3, 1807.
