Description
On Sept. 5, 1905 the Russian and Japanese Peace delegations signed a peace treaty to end hostilities of the Russo-Japanese War, 1904-1905. The negotiations took place at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine at the invitation of President Theodore Roosevelt. This is part of the Susan Ricker Knox Collection.
