Description
The "Century of Progress Parade" on the causeway in Naples during the 100th anniversary celebration of the town of Naples was led by Battery I 240 C.A.C. and U.S. Fifth Infantry Band. The procession went from the Proctor House to the Municipal Grounds.
The Centennial Celebration took place August 10-12, 1934. On Saturday, August 11, over 1700 cars were parked along the main street, side streets and fields from Proctor's to the village, while many more were estimated to be parked throughout the village, the Municipal grounds and beyond.
