The arrival of President Dwight D. Eisenhower at the 12 Cabin Brown Company Parrmachenee Club for a fishing trip in the Rangeley Lakes region, is depicted in this photograph.
Dwight Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States, was President from 1953-1961. He visited Maine during a six day vacation tour through northern New England and spent much of his time fishing, golfing, and relaxing on Parmachenee Lake.
