Description
Janice Starbird was a teacher at the Peru Schools from 1936 to 1953 in grades four and five.
She was at the Peru Center School in 1937-1937, then transferred to the West Peru Grammar School until 1953. She was very well liked and remembered as a "grandmotherly type" teacher.
She and her husband, Freeman, lived across the river in Dixfield.
