Description
Writing from Newburyport, Massachusetts, where he had worked since July 1845, James L. Hunt told his parents in Bath that nothing was happening in the town on a January afternoon because of the heavy, deep snow.
Hunt worked in a foundry and wrote to his parents, Joseph and Roxanna Hunt, about his job, about missing family and friends in Bath, and about his ambitions.
