Description
This is the program for the 7th Annual Debate of the Bates Interscholastic Debating League which was held at the Tuscan Opera House in Dixfield, Friday, March 19, 1926.
The debate considered the question: Should the Amendment of the United States Constitution enabling Congress to regulate Child Labor be ratified by the State of Maine? The affirmative position was debated by Dixfield, the negative by Buckfield.
Following the judges decision, a social dance followed with music provided by the Legion Orchestra.
