Description

This is the cover for the dance program used at the Second Holman Reunion At Dixfield Centre, 1902. The Holmans were the original settlers of Holmantown beginning in 1792. Holmantown later became incorporated as Dixfield in 1803.

The Holman Reunions brought Holman descendants from far and wide to Dixfield well into the 1960s. As of 2013, the Holmans still own farms and land on The Common. The Common is a local name for Dixfield Centre.
