Description

This postcard shows the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church as it looked in about 1912. The St. Barnabas Episcopal Church is a unique stone church, located on the corner of Penobscot Street and Plymouth Avenue. It was built from unhewn stones from the Androscoggin River. Construction of the church started in 1903 and by 1905 was sufficiently completed so that services could begin being held there.
