Description
A crew is in the process of constructing an approximately 100-foot long bridge from the top of the dam to the gatehouse at the Mt. Zircon Resevoir in Rumford. The impact of winter’s ice on the gatehouse was one of a number of special considerations addressed in a report by Sawyer & Moulton, a Boston engineering firm that was consulted on resevoir operations.
