Description
In this postcard made by Eastern Illustrating and Publishing Company in the 1970s, Howard Plummer and his son Chuck Plummer, can be seen packing lobsters into wooden crates for shipment to market by truck. This photograph was taken at Farrin's Wharf, a busy commercial fishing dock from the 1950s until the late 1980s, on the eastern Gut in South Bristol.
