Description
The East Rumford School was built in 1868. This is one of the first school built in Rumford, and was use from 1868 to 1903. Samuel Read Hall was a teacher, created the first blackboard here. It is now in the Maine State Museum in Augusta and The Lufkins School Museum in Rumford Center.
