McDonald School in Smith Crossing, Rumford, ca. 1908

Description

The McDonald School was built in 1908. Morris P. McDonald, Vice President and General Manager of the Maine Central RR, obtained the gift of the land from the railroad on which the school was built. The school closed in 1959.
