Description
In the 1930s and the 1940s the Greenville High School Alumni Association enjoyed cruises on the Steamship Katahdin. Often times they traveled to the Kineo Hotel for the annual alumni banquet. Entertainment on board included a band, much to the enjoyment of the residents along Moosehead Lake. In 1937, boat transportation from Greenville Village, a banquet, and dancing were offered at a rate of $1.50 per person.
