'Rippling Waves Waltz' by Mellie Dunham, 1926

Description

The sheet music of Mellie Dunham's most famous song, "Rippling Waves," was published by Carl Fischer Inc., of New York in 1926.

Dunham, who lived in Norway with his wife, Emma "Gram" Dunham, was known throughout the country for his fiddle playing. He and his wife, their son-in-law, Nathan Noble, and their granddaughter Cherry Noble often performed together.

The sheet music cover describes him as "Maine's Champion Fiddler."
