Description
This photographs of the valve room on Steamer Katahdin II shows two engineers with coffee pots being kept warm. This photograph was taken before the Katahdin II was converted to diesel in 1923. The Katahdin II was christened in 1913 and continues to cruise Moosehead Lake during the summer months, as of 2013.
