Description
This little metal scale was used to measure the weight of very small items, such as candy. The scallop-shaped removable tray held the items to be weighed. The small weights of varying size were placed on the round tray to bring the two trays into balance. One can imagine the delight this brought to children, as the affable store manager, Walter Wotton, carefully measured the weight of their purchases.
