This postcard depicts South Bay in Lubec as it appeared around 1954. South Bay is located west of Sewards Neck (North Lubec).
The Artvue Postcard Company of 225 Fifth Avenue, New York City was formed in 1948 as a prolific producer of black & white postcards, such as this one, in the 1950's in an era when color postcards had become common.
