Description
The cover picture shows Moody Island, now known as Crotch Island, where Camp Durrell was located:"but a few minutes row to Friendship Harbor." The brochure is filled with all of the information that prospective campers and their parents would need to know.
Under the auspices of the Young Men's Christian Association of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the camp sought to provide "a safe place to send their boys during summer vacation." In the previous year, it enrolled 253 boys, ages 12-18, from 53 cities.
