Description
This photo of the New County Road which was built about 1800, shows the mountains that needed to be circumvented to reach the connecting road in Sumner. The mountain on the left that falls off quicky is known as Tumbledown Dick and passes east of Worthley Pond, then shortly joins the road to Sumner and Paris, the county seat.
