Description
This photograph shows young Ethlyn Adams in her Sunday best dress and holding a bouquet of flowers. Behind her are the farmland fields and wooden fences of Dixfield Common.
In the background is also Col. Holman Mountain, named for Col. Jonathan Holman, the founder of Holmantown in 1796. Holmantown was incorporated as Dixfield in 1803. Ethlyn Adams Hebert is a Holman descendant.
