Description
This West Lubec Church was built at an unknown date in the 19th Century. This photograph shows improvements from an 1899 construction project. The increase in the width of State Route 189, from 62 to 100 feet wide, in 1962 resulted in demolition of this structure and its replacement with a new church building, further back from the road.
