Description
After spending many years in Edaville, South Carver Massachusetts working as tourist trains, the last two Monson narrow gauge engines were returned to Portland Maine. Here Harold French and Frank Johnson, sons of the last men that ran the train, are shown driving a spike into a narrow track for the Maine Museum's display of one of the engines.
Engine Number 3 was returned October 10, 1992 and the following year, September 19, 1993, Engine Number 4 was also returned to Maine.
