Description
Fernando Allen Richards owned and operated a sawmill on River Road in Ridlonville, now part of Mexico, Maine. Pictured here in front of Richards's house on Birch Hill in Mexico, is a Mr. Bradeen, Hattie A. (Swain) Richards, and Fernando, also known as "Allie."
Allie and Hattie lived in this house when they were first married, but later moved below the mill in Ridlonville, on the opposite side of the road.
