Description
This is the second of two photographs which depict the interior of the Jackson home, located on South Main Street in Monson. This view shows the parlor at the Jackson home, which Walter and Grace Jackson occupied the home with their two sons, Earle and Cecil.
Walter Jackson owned and ran a grocery store in Monson. He also began the Monson Cornet Band. The band performed at parades and gave concerts throughout the area. Walter Jackson died in 1922, having served as band director/manager for 34 years.
