Description
Located at Day's Crossing on the North Guilford Road in Monson, this one room school house was called the "Red School House". Built just below the Pullen Farm this photograph shows the students outside with their teacher Stella Pullen. As of 2013, the building is no longer standing.
The students in this photograph are: George Pullen, Horace Pullen, Willie Kirk, Jesse Kirk, Arthur Blaisdell, Carrol Brown, Sophia Pullen, Nellie Greeley, Harold Bearce, Stella Pullen (teacher), Marion Greeley, Hazel Bradford, Bertha Kirk and Austin Brown.
