Description
Harness racing was a highlight at the Lakeside Park in Princeton. This picture was taken around 1910 and shows the start of one of the races. Note the grandstand in the background. Some of the local men who had horses that were raced at Lakeside Park were John D. Lawler, Thomas Lawler, Hugh Love, M. N. McKusick, Ernest Brown, J.G. Hamilton, Dr. L. Brehaut, W. L. Eaton, C. M. Cone, Frank C. Murchie, George Ross, Frank Chadbourne and Henry B. Eaton.
