Description
Monson Academy students often participated in several sports including track, baseball, skiing, ski jumping and basketball. This team photograph of the 1935 track team shows them proudly displaying their many ribbons they earned to became the county champions.
Shown in front, from left to right, are: Kenneth Blanchard, Donald MacPherson, Colby Kronholm, Robert Zimmerman, Eino Suomi, Alvah Crockett, Robert Landry, and Omar Stanchfield. Standing, left to right, are: Principal Carson, Roy Lloyd, Oscar Ulman, Coach Stinchfield, Galen Wentworth, Esko Mutanen, Russell Olson, and Manager George Nelson.
