Description
The first cottage on Lake Hebron was built about 1890 by Mrs. P.W. Knight. Built on a point of land commonly called "Indian Point", it was the first of several to be built around the lake. Shown here standing on the wrap around porch are Henry S. Knight, Peleg W. Knight in the rocking chair and the second lady on the right is Minnie Foss Knight. Minnie was the wife of Peleg, the identity of the first lady is unknown. As of 2013, the camp continues to stand today and is privately owned.
