Lambert Camp, Monson, ca. 1900

Description

The Lambert camp was built on Lake Hebron in the late 1890s and was owned by Perley and Lilla Lambert. All of the early cottages and camps were built around Indian Point on Lake Hebron. In the early years of the Lake a corporation was formed to promote Indian Point and the surrounding lower lake area as a summer resort. Today the shoreline of Lake Hebron is surrounded by many camps and homes.
