Description
"Shows bridge at left, mentioned in 83 and 81. The water is even higher. The most startling thought in this picture is brought out by noting West Front Street. It will be observed that water has flowed across it to a depth of probably 8 feet."
~Roland T. Patten, Custodian of Historical Views, 1929
