Description
This photograph is a front view of the Swedish Lutheran Church which is located on Wilkins Street in Monson. Swedish immigrants built the church in 1890 and its ministers conducted services in the Swedish language.
Since 1946 the building has housed the American Legion Post, Appalachian Trail Hostel, was a private home, and is now (2013) a Good Samaritan Mission as part of Areopagus II America.
