Description
A ticket admitted the bearer to the Grand Military Ball hosted by the Montgomery Guards, an all Irish-American volunteer militia, in Portland on May 24. 1883.
The text reads, "Grand Military Ball by the Portland Montgomery Guards, complimentary to 'The Honorary Organization,' City Hall, Thursday eve., May 24, 1883 Admission 50 cents."
