Description
Harry T. Cavanaugh enlisted in the army in 1917 during WW I. This photograph was taken at his home on Washington Street in Biddeford before leaving for camp.
He was a foreman at Pepperell Mills before enlisting in the army. After the war he returned to Pepperell Mills and worked there for 40 years.
He marched in the Biddeford parade, along with other area army enlistees of 1917.
