Description
This is the Graduation Announcement for the Sullivan High School Class of 1884. This exercise was held on Thursday evening, June 26th. The ceremony was held at the Methodist Episcopal Church on School Street in Berwick Maine.
There were just four graduates in this year: Minnie May Belle Smith, Lilla Janet Robinson, Anna May Tibbetts and Joseph Bailey Brackett.
The exercise began with a prayer and piano solo. This was followed by a salutatory address, and other such graduation exercises. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of Diplomas and a Benediction.
