Description
The image, taken in the 1870s, shows the south shore of Ingraham's Point in the South End of Rockland. The foreground shows trees on Ingraham's Hill.
On the right is the Snow Shipyard, with several schooners in the bay. The small buildings on the left are on Mechanic Street.
The Snow Shipyard operated from 1863 through World War II.
