Description
The image shows the Atlantic House at 5 South Street in the south end of Rockland. There are four people in the foreground.
The house was built by shipbuilder Francis W. Rhoades and served as a boarding house for shipyard workers. This building was painted by Edward Hopper in 1926 and titled "Haunted House."
