Town report, Berwick, 1860

Description

The first section of this town report lists the expenses for the year 1859 which consisted of payments to individuals who performed services for the town. The second section lists the names of individuals who performed labor on new and old bridges and highways in Berwick.

Sections three and four list support for the poor of 1859 and the expenses of the Town Farm before 1859. Of interest is the value of large equipment, tools and animals that could be found on the Town Farm.

This report was prepared by three town selectmen: John Gowell, Hezekiah Fall and Micheal Tebbets.
An audit of the Town of Berwick was prepared by George Moore and Charles Guptill.
