Description
Shell Station, Main Street, Bridgton.
This is the tax record for a commercial building owned by Fred Eaton at the time of the survey, around 1938. The card was updated at an unknown later date to reflect ownership by Ruth Carver Ames.
It may be of interest that a notation underneath the paper tag reads "Ruth H. Carver," with "Carver" crossed out and replaced by "Ames," presumably her married name.
