Description
"Two large steam accumulators are nearly completed in the boiler shop. The curved sections were predrilled for the rivets binding them together. These vessels have to sustain high pressures in paper mills just as boilers must."--Fletcher, David H. 'The Portland Company 1846-1982.' Charleston, S.C. : Arcadia Pub., 2002. 19.
