Description
This image is looking northwest over Limerock Street in Rockland from the roof of the Rockland Custom House and Post Office building.
The small brick house in the center foreground belonged to William A. Glover. It was built in 1826 by W. E. Wiggin, an ancestor of Mrs. Glover.
The large empty lot at the center left of the image is the future site of the Rockland Public Library. In the distance is Dodge Mountain.
